Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who has become the nation's favorite following her win of the American Idol title in the premiere season. It was not just the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame, it also landed her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. The singer has since released several studio albums. 3 of these made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. She has been one of American Idol's most successful performers. When she was successful, she experimented with different topics and styles of music, often co-writing her songs in accordance with her personal feelings. The uniqueness of her voice and singing abilities earned her critical praise and a number of important awards. In particular, she has been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times.
