Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actress, singer as well as a writer and director. Most famously, she is known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and performed in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest child from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on January 1977. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. The father of Benson was Jewish, and while her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to a Reform congregation in Alabama. In the years since Buffy came to an end, Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. Behind the camera, she used her writing abilities to work on The Ghosts of Albion series and produced projects such as the 2010's Drones. Buffy says that she has found and counted at least 1800 Slayers and 500 of them work with the Scooby Gang. Slayers can be active after they are old enough to be a Slayer. Soledad for example became an Slayer at the age of 16. Ruth Connell to play Rowena in season 10 of Supernatural. According to reports that she's a mysterious old-school witch.
