Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek is a Mexican-American actress born to Syrian-Lebanese parents. She was born into an extremely wealthy Roman Catholic family from Mexico. When she was a kid her dream was to pursue a career in acting after watching the film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.' When she attended Mexico City's 'Universidad Iberoamericana', she felt prepared to enter the industry of film. She had her first acting role in the Mexican TV show "Teresa." Her role was featured in the movie "Desperado" with Antonio Banderas after arriving in Hollywood. Later, she was cast in "Fools Rush in" as well as "Wild Wild West" and "Wild Wild West" among others. The role of 'Desperado' of Once Upon a Time in Mexico was repeated. After that, she established her production company "Ventanarosa,". The film she first made with her was the Mexican 'El Coronel No Tiene Quien Le Escriba. The film later became Mexico's official submission to the Oscars for 'Best Foreign Film.
